Is There Room For Mindfulness In Business?
I think so.
My story is simple: I did all the things you’re supposed to do.
I went to school, I got the MBA, I worked in corporate offices. I led projects, I drafted templates, I revamped and pivoted and brainstormed with the best of them. And yet none of it ever felt like enough. Whether it was big tech or startups, remote or in office, I always felt like something was missing.
Mindfulness, meditation, mental and emotional wellness- those vital things in my life fell way out of balance as I focused on rising to the top of the corporate heirachy, and I imagine these things fall out of balance for a lot of business professionals.
I am on a journey to grow my own businesses and income streams, but I am here to do it mindfully, and to teach other high-strung, borderline burnt out professionals how to do the same. From finding a new job to managing stress at work to manifesting everything you’ve dreamed of, I am here to explore and share my experiences with you, and maybe we can both learn something along the way.

For some people, the word “budget” may invoke eye rolls, and for others a sense of dread. Still, others may love it- feeling a sense of wonder and control whenever a dollar goes into savings. I’m not really one of those last people, but I get it.
The method of budgeting I go over in this article takes a more mindful approach to the topic, which I know from personal experience makes sticking to your financial goals so much easier and worthwhile.
There are ways to overcome your overspending habits and develop good habits in their place. I am sharing the practical tips here that are continuously helping me and that I hope will help you on your journey to financial wellness.
This article is the first part of a series on Mindful Money Mastery, focusing on setting up strong financial foundations and changing your financial life using mindfulness.
Whether you’re new to discovering personal finance or an experienced financial guru, I think this series will have something for everyone.
Today we start with the foundation of all good plans: setting your goals and figuring out your why.
In the world today, where distractions are everywhere, mindfulness has emerged as a valuable tool for managing stress, improving focus, and fostering overall well-being. But mindfulness isn't just about sitting in silence and clearing your mind. It's a skill that can be nurtured and strengthened with the right tools and techniques.
What exactly is a positive mindset? Well, it's not just about being all sunshine and rainbows. It's about having an outlook on life that focuses on the good stuff, even when things get tough. It's like having a built-in cheerleader in your head, rooting for you no matter what.
Overthinking is a common issue that can take a toll on our mental well-being if left unchecked. Fortunately, there are proven methods to calm overthinking and regain control of your mind. In today’s article, we'll explore five effective strategies that you can start implementing today.
Emotional intelligence, often abbreviated as EI, is the ability to recognize, understand, and manage our own emotions, as well as effectively navigate the emotions of others. It encompasses traits like self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and social skills. In both personal and professional realms, EI plays a pivotal role in shaping our interactions, decisions, and overall well-being.
Burnout — a word we’ve all heard, a feeling we’ve all felt. In this article we’re diving deep into the art of handling and preventing burnout because your mental well-being deserves center stage.
The goal is not to make your life perfect, but to make your life whole.
Caring for yourself is not something you do so you can take cute aesthetic pictures of bubble baths for Instagram. Self care, as far as I see it, is routine maintenance.
Mindfulness has become a popular practice in recent years, but there is still a hustle mentality in a lot of workplaces, with people believing they just do not have the time or energy or (insert personal excuse here) to focus on mindfulness. In reality, though, mindfulness is a tool to help employees manage stress, improve focus, and enhance overall productivity. Let me break it down for you.
I’ve read hundreds of self-help and productivity books, and I will probably keep reading them until the end of time. My Audible and physical book collection is getting a bit out of hand, honestly.
No matter how many books I have on my TBR list, however, a few of them always end up getting re-read (or re-listened to) about every year or so. Those are the ones I want to talk about today.
Over the last five years, I have struggled with weight gain and unhealthy, destructive habits.
You can blame life changes, you can blame sedentary activities, you can blame my upbringing, but at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter.
What I chose to do, or not do, about the problem was.
